After the Rain (Ame Agaru) is a Japanese film; story based on the last script written by Akira Kurosawa. The set and the plot is rather simple, well its about the life of a Ronnin. Also interesting is how the reflects what a ronnins wife undergoes.
Story goes on about a samurai and his wife is waiting at a stay, waiting for the rain to settle so that they can cros the river. During the stay the Samurai tries to help out everyone he can though his wife isnt really happy about it. One day he stumbles upon couple of youngsters making a duel, and he breaks them off. The Lord of the clan happen to see that and invites him to the position of the Master of Arms, which creates a grudge among the other clan members and infuriating them to make an assassination plot on the ronnin. Movie continues as the samurai stays calm and not letting go of his honor while he fights off the grudge.
Simplicity of the movie and the humbleness of the characters are quite something to comment about. Its jss beautiful this movie.
