Bridge to Terabithia
Description: “[The] Bridge to Terabithia is a 2007 fantasy drama film . . . [which is] based on Katherine Paterson’s novel . . . [with] the same . . . [title] and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures in the US . . . . [It’s about the] story of Jess Aarons and Leslie Burke . . . [the] neighbors [kids] who create a fantasy world called Terabithia . . . [spending] their free time together in an abandoned tree house.” One of the things interesting on this movie is that Katherine Peterson’s novel is based in part on the childhood of a co-screenwriter of this film, David Peterson, her own child.
“[This film] extremely [earned] positive reviews; critics [call] it a faithful adaption of the children's novel and [find] the dynamic visuals and natural performances [enhancing further] this imaginative film. . . . [This movie] was nominated for seven awards, winning five [of them], at the Young Artist Awards.”
“The principal photography of this movie was shot in Auckland, New Zealand.”
