Synopsis:  “Remington is in love with Hannah, but she finds him lazy and uncouth. . . .  Remington [then changes and becomes] neater, nicer, and more sensitive. [However,] is he doing it for her or [due to] something beyond his control [that changes him into something else]?  He discovers that his gradual transformation is tied to . . . his childhood transgressions and [the curse that was] uttered in a graveyard.  Hannah falls for the new and improved Remington, but [the latter] starts falling for someone else.

As the ghosts of Remington's past come to haunt him . . . , [their sleepy town gets threatened and shaken] to death.”
